Startup marketing company specializing in movement building vs. one-off campaigns seeks capable, inspired interns looking to be on the ground floor of a fast-growing enterprise.

Why you want to work here:
You`ll get to work with the three partners, each of whom has separately excelled in the past with tech startups, building award winning pop culture and worked on amazing campaigns for Fortune 500 brands while developing one of the first social media platforms. You`ll learn about where things are headed, not where they`ve been. Ad agencies have their heads stuck far up their asses. And backwards as they are, the college you just graduated from is likely even worse. No one is teaching what we do because we haven`t gotten around to inventing half of it. There`s no talent pool of people who did this before which means we need to train smart, capable people how to do this. And we`re starting to grow fast enough that the time is now to train people.
We`re looking for people with interest in the following areas:
• Project Excellence (we don`t believe in just managing things but having everyone who works on a project make it better. We give full autonomy to make non-life-threatening decisions so you learn by doing, not by asking)
• New Business - Not sales, but researching opportunities, presenting them to the partners, finding the appropriate contacts, coordinating meetings and represent us at relevant networking events (which we will pay your way for)
• Social Media - Be the face of the brands we represent online. Deep dive into what the consumer thinks, have real, meaningful interactions with people and represent the brand one interaction at a time
• Web and application developers - Be a part of a team building some of tomorrow`s social media platforms
• Designers and Writers - Let us help you learn how to adapt a campaign into a movement, how to think in terms of integrating across platforms
• Editors - Help us create amazing content that represents our brand and the advertising industry social network that we own.

What we want:
• A commitment: Please let us know when you`re available and for how long. We are not interested in training you so you can leave in a few weeks. We genuinely want to hire every intern into a paid freelance or perm position as the company grows. Think of it less like an internship, more like training camp for joining the big team.
• A cover letter: We really don`t care about your resume or that you designed your junior high school yearbook cover. Tell us what you`re doing, what your vision of the future is and how you think this opportunity will launch you into marketing stardom.
Situation:
We have a loft in the West Village. We`re not always there. You can come in. You can work from home if you are able. It`s up to you. We just want you to get what we ask you done.
Compensation: We pay expenses only. Small stipend leading to full time based on performance.
